What Is It?

Bepanthen® Protective Baby Ointment is a gentle, high-fat ointment containing dexpanthenol, a pro-vitamin B5. It works by forming a fine lipid barrier on the skin to retain moisture and protect delicate areas like the diaper region. 

How It Works

• Caring: Converts dexpanthenol into pantothenic acid in the skin, supporting regeneration from within.
• Protecting: The rich, lipid-based formula shields against moisture, friction, and external irritants.
• Safe: Suitable for infants, expectant and breastfeeding mothers, and those with minor wounds.

Ingredients

• Active: Dexpanthenol (about 5% concentration)
• Base/Excipients: White soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, beeswax, lanolin, almond oil, cetyl & stearyl alcohol, etc.  

How to Use

• For Babies: Apply a thin layer after each diaper change on clean, dry skin.
• For Mothers: Can be used on nipples after breastfeeding (wipe off before feeding).
• Optional Uses: Helps protect minor skin irritations or small wounds. Apply 1–several times daily as needed.
